I ordered this halter for my daughter's large pony as a Christmas present. The pony typically wears a cob-size halter, so I ordered that. It is a bit snug on him, but works - in writing this review, I noted the halter measurements on the redhautehorse site, and I would probably order any future halters in an average size. Because the halter seemed smaller, I went to Dover's website to compare the measurements - Dover doesn't give measurements. So I say good on Redhautehorse for giving measurements. I expected the Redhautehorse halter to fade quickly - while it's only been a month, to be honest the halter looks as good as it did on the day it arrived, well ok, minus the dirt/mud from a month's use. I think its great that this company is offering such a unique variety of halters.
